How it all got started...

Like many other bands, to reach to the top is a struggle. Whether it's playing for thousands or playing for five, the band always come out winning ...

Caribbean Dynamics Band was founded in 1997 in Los Angeles. Most of us met in the Latin Lovers Band in 1995, which was one of L.A.'s upcoming bands. Dynamics has always remained persistent on the music scene. We have maintained many of our original talents and new members bring more to our style. Our music always displayed the love for our people and  homeland. The base of the band is our love for music and strong discipline. The band has maintained a close relationship with the community by being constantly present at various celebrations.

The band has worked hard during the years  to be recognized. Originally, we performed for bargain prices at special occasions like birthdays and weddings. The band has polished our talents aiming for professionalism. Today, Dynamics has built a status, and the band is considered one of the best in the community. We have played alongside Santino's Messengers, New Sensation, Cross Culture, Belizean Gold's, New Dimension, Byron Lee, Morgan Heritage, Tony Rebel, Coolie Rebel, Punta Cartel and more. Also worked with artist and bands like Titiman Flores, Mohobub, Garif, Leonard Lopez, Danki man, Calypso Rose, Bella Carib, Dobbi Dobson, Carlton Brown, Dymin, Punta Cartel, Phase 2, Supa G, Nuru,  Mr. Peters, Leela Vernon, Pluto Shervington, Iwanhi,  Aziatic, Gadu Nunez, Ideal, Marcony Star, Jess Flores, Sapp Sanchez, Bernadeth Gilharry, Punta Dan, etc..  We haved traveled  to San Diego, Miami , Belize Tour  Easter of 2005 and 2006, New York, Las Vegas, Chicago and have scheduled performances to other cities in the near future..  

Today Dynamics members: Marlon Alegria, Arturo Alegria, Philip Garcia, Dr. Ryhthm, Carlton Sharpe, Philip Thompson,and Emory Jourdon are carrying the responsibility in pushing the reputation of Caribbean & Latin music to the top. Whether playing for our own people or other communities, we always demonstrate who we are and where we come from.   

The band's styles include Reggae, Dancehall,  Punta, Soca, Parranda, Reggaeton, Souls, Romanticas, Cumbias, Merengue, bachata, etc.. We always combine the new hits with the good old songs, always demonstrating a distinctive sound. Caribbean Dynamics will always continue with our common love for music to amaze the audience with our unpredictable style. The community is proud of the band and looks forward to hearing our musical talents for years to come.
